Question Time for a Genuine Socialist Party?

If it were an honest Socialist party, I would say yes.

However, I don't think admitting to believing that theft is O.K. as long as it is by the state is a vote winner.

How about an honest American style libertarian or market fundamentalist who is ready to admit his entire ideology relies on the fact he can try and solve most political and social problems by an appeal to sticky lockean property rights but doesn't really have a reason why these are universally valid or "natural" and therefore why not alays adhereing to them is "theft".

How about you actually put forward a decent argument for the exceptance of your axioms.

There is no ideology which is so certain, so aggressive about any deviation from its platform and yet seems to rely on so spacious a theoretical and pracitcal base as American style libertarianism and objectivism.

I actually don't mind either I just don't like this constant drivel which seems to suggest their platforms are always best and any deviation is evil and fascist and also their total neglect of things like power and authority within the dubious, few universal axioms they proclaim.

I have land which sits doing nothing. It's there to act as a buffer between myself and other people, since neighbour noise drops my productivity to zero.

Bottom line alot of us get annoyed at American style libertarians and objectivists who use aggressive and yet extremely simplistic and dubious arguments to try and prove their points and who are extremely negative at the slightest deviation of view from the party line.

Unproductive means that accumulation which allows an individual rather than to provide for old age or ill-health or to help him to work it actually allows him to gain income at while not working due to the work of others. Ie rentier income.
