Frank Field, the eurosceptic Labour MP who campaigns for an English Parliament to be set up said at 8.16 pm on 19.5.2008 on ITV 1 in the programme “Jobs for the boys” (a documentary about Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s call for “British jobs for British workers”) “I am sure we are the only country following an EU Directive on this (i.e. not putting British workers before those from other EU nations). They’ll put their own workers first in France and Germany.”

Mr. Field added at 8.25 pm “We lack the social conventions of other countries which put their own workers first."

Mr. Field also warned "The Government doesn’t know how many foreign workers will be here next year.”

Programme presenter Michael Nicholson (a former newsreader) concluded “The UK Government can’t stop EU people coming in – British jobs for British workers is a promise it cannot keep.”

I got a TV yesterday and the first programme I saw was this.

The Poles are now the workers in the UK. A Union boss encouraged this.
I am surprised the EU allows progs like this I expect UK sheeple are watching the shopping channel.
