Default "Miliband plays down rumour that he may quit Government for EU job"

Committed europhile David Miliband, UK Foreign Secretary, has "played down claims that he is set to abandon the (UK) Government for a senior role in Brussels" (ITV Teletext has just reported).

A newspaper in Germany allegedly said that he has the support of France and some other countries for the job.

It is alleged (in the article in the German newspaper) that Miliband could become the first EU Foreign Minister (EU "Higher Representative") - the post is created in the unwanted EU Lisbon (EU Constitution) Treaty.

Miliband is one of the most pro-EU members of the Labour Government and some believe that he would stand for the leadership of that party if Prime Minister Gordon Brown quit. Labour is currently between 17% and 20% behind the Conservative opposition in opinion polls and some believe that Labour will lose the next General Election.

The ITV Teletext report referred to above can be found at:

What a surprise....NOT!

Explains why the traitor Miliband was/is so determined to get us to join the EU with his bare faces lies about the 'treaty' being different from the 'constitution'.

Alert Europhile rat may jump overboard for Brussels Gravy train. Given the direction we are moving he will gain more infleunce as an unelected EU leach than as a Foreign Secretary of a once Great Nation State.

Could it be he fears that a spell on the opposition benches is looming.
