Default Lotto Lout Lets Lair

Lotto lout Michael Carroll has pledged to clean up his wrecked £320,000 mansion and rent it out to immigrant workers.

Carroll, who won £9.7m in 2002, forked out for the sprawling mansion called The Grange in Norfolk, after he hit the jackpot.

But it's been turned into an eyesore, stripped of fixtures, fittings and wiring by looters and its grounds littered with blown-out tyres, hubcaps, broken computer consoles and broken glass.

The former binman, 25, used it for demolition derbies and drink-crazed parties. Carroll said he was planning to renovate it and wanted to let it out to migrant workers.

I believe the Daily Mail's definition of "mansion" doesn't quite match mine.

£320,000 doesn't buy a lot in Norfolk.

It used to! A lot of folk up in the fishing villages are being priced out by the 2nd holiday home crowd which is a shame really.

.. and to add to above the reason they are being priced out is because the fishing industry was decimated by the EU meaning their just aren't the wages earnable to keep up with the crazy house price rises.
