That's just empty rhetoric. Migration has gone on for centuries and is far easier today with modern communications and modes of transport, hence it presents problems for governments. However, I don't see it as part of a big plot by 'the globalists'.

When I mentioned globalisation I was referring to the opening up of the world's economies to competition and investment. It has nothing to do with an imaginary group of globalists controlling things - quite the contrary. Closed nation states are far easier to control.

The bottom line is that they come here because we're a soft touch, we have an amazingly generous Welfare State, and we operate a multicultural society meaning they can carry on as they want unhindered.

Cut the welfare payments to the bone (that’ll have to be done shortly anyway) crack down on illegal immigrants discovered and establish a fast track disposal process, get rid of the concept of multiculturalism and establish a FIFO philosophy, and a whole lot of them will go on their own accord.

It will probably require dissociating from the ECHR but that would be no bad move anyway.

I understand why you take that line, however, I am afraid that conventional remedies are not going to solve the problem of globalisation, with the global monsters in league with governments, they will reach an unassailable position if that has not already happened. It would probably be possible to steadily reduce their power, if the will was there - but it would be a bloody battle.

Just seen your later post - you obviously will not agree.

The natural alternative [an iron law in its way] is that all commerce falls into the hands of a relatively small number, their purchasing power is so great they can obtain the goods and services they require at incredibly low rates which means that the buying power of consumers becomes radically reduced which in turn reduces the demand for their goods and services - and the whole structure comes tumbling down. Better governments take measures to reduce their powers before that sorry state occurs.

Isn't that all rather racist ?

I thought all these people were at least as good as us, if not better.

And don't they bring such wonderful diversity to our once hideously white island?

No, it's not raceist in the least. It's about scroungers and con artists as well as those who can see a good thing when it's floated in front of their noses and how wrong New Labour has been in letting it happen.

I don't blame the immigrants, I blame the government.

Immigration is the scourge of this country, yet the scumocracy are turning from ineffectual Nulabour to equally ineffectual Blulabour.

Meanwhile in Italy, Signor Berlusconi has rightly branded illegal immigrants an 'Army of Evil'

Why is it that Italy is governed by men of courage while we are presented with traitorous scum?

The Bird Feeder

I bought a bird feeder to feed the birds in and around my yard. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it is as I filled it lovingly with seed.

Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food but not just our birds, birds from miles away.

Then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere!

Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.

After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore.

So I took down the bird feeder and in three days all the stranger birds were gone.

I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio.

Soon, the back yard was like it used to be...quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal but our local birds getting what they needed by the feed being thrown just to them.

Now let's see.....

Our government gives out free food, subsidised housing, free medical care, and free education and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen.

Then the illegal’s came by the hundreds of thousands.

Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English.

Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to "press 1 one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than our own are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.

Just my opinion, but maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder.
And replace it with what?

Perhaps with this?

No, just take away what attracts them and they'll soon go somewhere else.

If you are so confused in your understanding about what is and what is not racist as to think so it would go some way to explaining why you claim to be unable to recognise the revolting overt racism in the opinions, comments, and beliefs that YOU so frequently express.
