Norwegian wood is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Some things never change!

The precursor to the 1707 act of Union with England was that the Scotch were bust and needed English money.

At Royal Bank of Scotland's annual meeting last year, music from Mel Gibson's film Braveheart filled the auditorium.

Yesterday's event was a more subdued affair.

One large shareholder said RBS should appoint a new heavyweight director with UK experience to the board as soon as possible. "We want them to appoint a new UK non-executive sooner rather than later and we want that person to play a leading role. We also want them to be English rather than Scottish," the investor said.

Like you being a troll?

And I don't know where you got your history from but it is incorrect.

I just deal in facts – don’t blame the messenger…….and while you’re here try and digest these facts concerning my own Country:

Norway to shut Scotland consulate!

CELTIC LEAGUE - PRESS INFORMATION…SCOTLAND - PROTEST OVER CONSULATE CLOSURE.

In a letter to the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jonas Gahr
Støre, Alba Branch Secretary Iain Ramsay said:

"The recent reopening of the Scottish Parliament and the more recent
development of a nationalist government should seem to indicate that
Scotland is well on its way to independence, and if that transpires
you could very easily have to consider opening an Embassy in Edinburgh,
an event which would give many Scots great pleasure."

Reply from Jonas Gahr Støre:

"Although we are now changing the status of the Consulate General in
Edinburgh into a Honorary Consulate, I can assure you that our mutual
interests will be taken care of in a most satisfactory way by a Honorary
Consul, assisted by a full time locally employed assistant financed
from Oslo. Further, our Embassy in London will also continue to pursue
and strengthen its focus on important fields of cooperation between
Norway and Scotland within a variety of areas, such as education,
research, culture and business."

Sincerely yours

Jonas Gahr Støre"

You seem to be unable or unwilling to deal with the facts I regularly produce.

Your ramblings are making it obvious that you love your particular regions of England so much you refuse to live in either of them……………………similar to this proud Scotchman!

What are you talking about? What regions of England? Do you not have a bridge to retreat under?
