Question Been out to vote?

Well I've just been out and voted. Not another voter in sight, but to be fair it was a very small polling station.

Looking forward to seeing the results for the local council and specifically my ward.

Anyone else been out to vote?

There are only four councils having elections in the south west. Mine isn't one of them

We have no elections this year. Really strange for me. Lived in a M B C until two years ago. They elected by thirds and the forth year was often a Euro or GE. Moved here and had district and parish last year now nothing, seems odd.
Was tempted to go and chance my arm at the old place as I know that the neighbours had never voted in the 18 years we lived there, so his vote was unused.
But being a good boy, i didn't.

I voted by postal ballot.

15 seats are up for grabs today.

Council makeup here is as follows:

LAB 24

L-D 7

CON 4

UKIP 1

OTHER 11

I think UKIP has a chance for two more seats and also think the Council will be NOC as well.

We will see.

UKIP have only put up one candidate for the council here, luckily he was in my ward so he got my vote.

Here's hoping he gets elected .

A full slate of 14 candidates in Woking for UKIP.

Also Labour have at last thrown in the towel in my ward. Thus UKIP only have the Lib Dems and Tories to fight.

Sadly I haven't recieved anything but rubbish from the old parties. I was so ****** off at this, that I went out and delivered some of my old materials, just out of frustration, even though I didn't really have the time.

There is a new polling station in my ward and it is a lot more convenient for many people so should see a higher turnout and perhaps a few more UKIP votes as we've 5 standing including me.
One very big problem that I've had as regards canvassing 2 weeks on a work course in Hungary and courtesy of an airline laid up with an repository infection.
My colleagues tell me it's been going well though so we're hopeful
