The latest poll shows the BNP and the Greens both on 2% in the Mayoral Race.

BNP ahead of UKIP and EDP. EDP on 0%.
BNP also lead in 2nd prefrences, which are rather useless in reality for smaller parties. I just want to see the final results now, the suspence is getting to me. |

All I see is a depressing disaster for others. 7% for all of them? With all that choice?
Dear me, the power of the MSM is strong, or this poll is wrong. Boris seems to be winning most of these polls. Looks like we shall have a bafoon for London Mayor. I don't suppose it makes much odds, seeing as he will just do as he is told. All this guarantees for me, is the next London Mayor after that will be Labour and the cycle of abuse going on and on and on.

Less than two Assembly members and he will be mortally wounded if the locals are the disaster for the party that is being widely predicted. I give him six months in these circumstances. Less if Barnbrook sees the light. Personally I think the fact that the BNP can only dream of scrapping up the dregs from a PR barrel in a city which has an ethnic "minority" larger than the population of the ROI is hardly an achievement. Still as long as your happy with it. S E Pearson. Last edited by Wowbanger TIP; 28-04-2008 at 04:44 PM. |

Be happy!
Red Ken has lost his lead, but only by 1%. Boris Johnson leads Ken Livingstone in mayoral election poll - Telegraph It looks like a close situation. Can that 1% survive the next few days though?

Its all part of the troika election fiddle,Boris up by one, then,Ken up by two and so forth.
They are playing the game of "a close run thing" for the folks to swallow again. They can not lose because they are in business together as a troika. |

I hope Boris Johnson MP holds on to the lead the Telegraph opinion poll (referred to earlier in this thread) gives him. It will be a good thing for the capital (and country) if committed europhile and critic of UKIP Livingstone is no longer Mayor of London by the end of the week. Counting for the London Mayoral and Assembly elections will take place on Friday during the day. London Mayoral Election 2008 candidates: Richard Barnbrook - British National Party, Gerard Batten - UK Independence Party, Siān Berry - Green Party, Alan Craig - Christian Peoples Alliance and Christian Party , Lindsey German - Left List, Boris Johnson - Conservative Party, Ken Livingstone - The Labour Party, Winston McKenzie - Independent, Matt O'Connor - English Democrats, Brian Paddick - Liberal Democrats. Full details of the London Mayoral and Assembly candidates for the 1.5.2008 London Elections at: London Elects - The candidates and in posting number three at: UKIP Gerard Batten London mayor Election Broadcast Last edited by Britannist; 28-04-2008 at 09:49 PM. |

Heres my prediction, the BNP will have less serious (ie elected municipal) councilors on May 2nd 2008 than it did on May 5th 2006. Whats yours? |
