The broadcast was quite good but could have done with a few more populaist policies in it.

I'm wondering how much impact BNP election broadcasts make nowadays amongst the electorate. In 1997, the BNP phone was non-stop ringing after the controversial election broadcast was aired, but then internet users were a minority unlike today where most people have access to the internet in one way or another.
The broadcast focused around families with young children. It was a tad dull and fell short on the populist policies. |

No. People should investigate for themselves and then draw their own conclusions.
As for when statements and assertions were made, that doesn't matter. A person with deep seated warped views about people who are of a different race to themselves is not going to change such opinions over any period of time. This is further underwritten to be true when people by their actions and the sort of company they choose to keep confirms that their twisted opinions have not changed by one iota since the company they choose to associate with have the same warped outlook on life and other people as they themselves have supported in the past. Put more simply, a leopard can't change its spots. That I can't help.

I can picture an expert lecture given by Bear, very much like a lesson taken by one of my old French masters. 'OK you lot. Read chapters 1-5 of The Five Minute Manager meets the Monkey. If you haven't got a copy, borrow one from somebody'. (leaves to spend an hour in the pub). Quote:

I think you mean “The One Minuet Manager” by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson! (It’s actually a very good book!) Quote:
WHAT deep seated warped view of my own race and nation? Please explain as I really don’t understand. My alienation from one of our greatest achievements -The British Empire? What on earth gives you that impresion? As for my “foreign antecedents, no more or than any other British person. You know,if you think about it the only possible TRUE British native life form would at best be a blue green algae which (up until very recently) I had thought to have been extinct for hundreds of millions of years! OF COURSE I AM! That should come as NO surprise! The trick is going to be to get the very best for Britain or at least England out of the united Europe that we can!

The life out there was very good for him and his compatriots but somehow I don't think that your ideas would have fitted in too well. The ballot on your application to join the club could have resembled a field full of sheep's droppings. Our Empire - like all the others - was based on inequality. Egalitarianism killed it off. |
