Full marks to those Miners who broke away from Scargill's Union to from a separate Trade Union.

Trade Union militancy must be opposed and Lady Thatcher seeing off Scargill was one of her finest moments.

There is, incidentally, now talk of a possible revival in the UK mining industry. Former Conservative Chancellor Lord Lawson (who has just written a new book rightfully criticising global warming hysteria) said on the radio on Tuesday evening that mining in the UK could become economical again and there is - potentially - much coal to be mined.

Why? If it is about the average workingman standing up for himself against bureaucrats and corporations it is a good thing. We don't need nationalisation and we don't need large corporations in general, they are both the enemy of the average man, of real property and of liberty even when the dubious label of "free" entreprise is attached to the later.

Labour (Lie-bour) is a party which has been largely run by an 'elite' for decades - an 'elite' who haven't got the slightest knowledge of the working class and who don't care for the working class despite their claims to the contrary.

The working classes got the right to buy their council houses after Lady Thatcher became Prime Minister. She gave millions of working class people the chance to set up their own businesses and her privatisation policies led to a reduction in the prices of coach and air travel allowing tens of millions of people to travel widely in the UK and to holiday abroad to places which some thought they would not be able to afford to visit.

The ruling Labour 'elite' hate the fact that the working class are now more prosperous and mobile as a result of the policies of Lady Thatcher.

We get back only a fraction of the money we pay the EU.

They sell us twice as much as we sell them.

The UK fishing industry has been wrecked by EU fishing quotas and control of our waters.

The Scottish whitefish fleet - once one of the largest in the world - has been sidelined by the EU to make way for fishing vessels from other EU nations to come and grab Scottish fish (and fish from English, Welsh and Northern Irish (NI) waters).

The same is even more true of Thatcher and the Tories. New labour are Thatcherites-lite.

Her policies ended up hurting the average man, increasing their costs and simply privatising public companies by giving them to her mates.

They are less prosperous and have less bargaining power. New labour is little better of course.
