Bigotry against Scots.

There are some posters here who seem to have a deep-seated bigotry against Scots even those like me who are not anti-English. Some of the posters here include Hartlepool and Rebirth and since I've got here they have often made half-trolling, insulting comments to me aimed at my Scottishness.

I'd like them to explain their bigotry and for those who do not share this bigotry to ask their opinion on it.

How can you claim not to be anti-English when you blame England for everything like a bigot?

If you do not partake in civil discussion and continue to post baiting oneliners, which are the essence of trolling I will have to talk to moderators.

All you do is make rash accusations about others who challenge you. Either anti-Scottish, bigotry or irrelevancies etc etc.

There is nothing civilized about you from what I can see. But, that's just my personal opinion.

The post above is nothing but a personal attack, I cannot locate the forum rules but I'm sure this is contrary to them. Please do not spam my thread.

When somone keeps making comments about Scotland wanting to commit genocide on the English and particularly when they seem to only be able to give very vague and inaccurate historical details then these comments both show an anti-Scots bigotry and are irrelevant. To be continually bombarded with such stuff is rightfully very annoying and to correct it is not anti-English unless you consider historians anti-English.

What like Scotland collaborating with France and Spain against England?

Bit of a joke to accuse others of spamming. All you do is spam the same accusations over and over about everyone else.

If you wish to dicsuss the historical details by all means go ahead.....

I will point out during the alleged event Scotland was allied only to France, an alliegance started and maintained to protect against invasion by the English kings. The actions of the Emperor Charles V had little to do with Scotland. I will also point out that in the decades before and after this the Kings of France, England and Spain/Holy Roman Empire changed alliegance with each other quite rapidly. This brief event in dynastic struggles does not seem to meet the criteria for the alleged alliance to commit genocide on England that you seem to have in mind.

If the Scots want independence they can have it, it's a democracy, it will be a sad day because as England has been stripped of its pride, I look fondly to Wales and Scotland and how they are proud of their heritage and it's just another part of Britain taken away from us.

Unfortunately parties like the SNP and PC will get their independence but will persue their open border immigration policy and destroy their respective countries identities. On the plus side, as they will have a softer immigration policy than England, it can only take the pressure of England but to see what's happening in England happening in Scotland and Wales will be a sad day indeed. Having recently visited the Isle of Man it's was sad to see the effects of immigration to this once untouched Isle, something I fear will see it's unique identity lost before it's inhabitants even realise.
