The kids programs on British TV are terrible.

American rubbish or half assed puppet shows for the most part.

No wonder three and four year olds are often all but mute after a diet of "tellytubbies" and the like.

Young parents use the TV as a mix of child minder and sedative for their kids far too much.

Dare I say I enjoyed many of the great cartoons on TV in the 80s that most kids today have never even heard of. Few of these cartoons were British but nobody complained.

Could Britain produce quality children's programmes that are not multicultural?
