On this point I see you're not fully up to speed. The number of candidates being fielded has nothing to do with being better organised. It's to do with the individual courage of most of the candidates themselves. If there was a good chance you would lose your job when your bosses or union found out you were a member of the BNP, you would probably think twice before you put your head over the parapet.

There are numerous instances of unions forcing companies to sack people for their BNP membership. The Police and Prison Services will sack anyone who exhibits BNP sympathies, even though we know many Police Officers support our policies.

So I can assure you, and any others who may have doubts, that were it not for the pressure put on us by 'the system' we would be fielding the 800+ you mention with ease.

Just my speculation mind.
This is my opinion too.

I was hoping that someone would make a comment on the above post, seeing as several people seem to think the BNP have a habit of exagerating their 'claims'.

As everyone on this forum professes a belief in our system of 'democracy' it would be expected that anything which intereres in the due process of that system should be examined and/or condemned. Yet no comments have been posted. Is this because non-BNP members here support the institutional harassment of the BNP, or is it more a case of being embarrassed at knowing this happens, yet doing nothing about it?

Personally I would paraphrase Manuel II Palaiologos who was speaking about Islam.

Show me just what the BNP has brought that is new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as their intent to spread their venom by incitement to hatred of other races.

How unexpected....

Where did you learn that the BNP is intent on spreading incitement to hatred of other races? (If this is indeed what you mean)

There is nothing in any piece of paper I have seen that advocates a hatred of anyone (except maybe Red Ken...). So perhaps you'd show us where you got this idea from, excluding Searchlight, GMB, and NuLabour campaign leaflets, as they are now part of an Electoral Commission investigation.

In fact, best leave 'Searchlight' out of it altogether...

p.s. Your post doesn't really answer the question, but I get your drift...

Very simple. The "Founding Fathers" of BNP, and the baggage complete with dirty laundry they brought with them.

Fair enough. So is your refusal to accept that changes have been made to ideaologies and opinions based on your lack of understanding of human nature, or blind hatred of an ideology you don't agree with.

What recent (not 20 or so years ago) quotes or incidents can you give to back what you say?

I would dearly like to see changes in the BNP but while Griffin and his cronies stay floating on the top all I see is window dressing, and the naive and those desperate to see change in the policies of the main parties being taken in by it and in ignorance pushing it as a thing it is not.

The very nature of the beast is enough. The very fact that it “is”.

If there had been changes such as the replacement of the odious leadership and the publishing of a manifesto that aimed at the recruitment of “non-blankes”, then it would be fair to write off the trash of the past but such is not the case.

You can call a pile of horse apples fine manure, but it remains a pile of horse apples nonetheless.
