We can not be sure that the leadership knew that he had that blog or that he had posted them comments. Do you really think the leadership has to go around checking everything about all their members?

The leadership have acted swiftly and removed Erikson once his comments came to light.

I've only just realised the funny side of this. It was during a conversation with a friend about the past coming back to haunt you.

This guy was a Conservative Party Councillor and had posed as a BNP sympathiser to stir up **** for the BNP. Now, a couple of years later, as a BNP member on the edge of being elected to the GLA, his past comes back and bites him on the bum....

Lee, I don't see why taki was so moral about the John Bull column in Right Now! This from the Guardian's Hugh Muir's Diary of 2/4/2008 -

Wasn't it good that Boris Johnson apologised last week for referring to black children as piccaninnies? He also showed contrition for a Taki article which said Caribbeans were "multiplying like flies". But all that good work risks being undone because the New Nation newspaper, through which Boris communicated his apology, now finds that there was not just one dodgy Taki article published during the Johnsonian years at the Spectator, but four. One said blacks have smaller brains than whites. Yet another said "diversity needs to be reversed, not encouraged". Will you apologise for these as well, the paper asked him? Answer came there none. Enemies again. Oh dear.

I would imagine that all parties and those with any opinion on anything, have a despicable bunch of potentially raving and closet extremists. One way to identify them can be through the individual use, presently or formerly, of aggressive, violent, obscene and generally disagreable language, when aimed at their political opposites. It is from that, that violent and represessive dictatorship could, and can, be created and maintained by the ultimate use of base animal aggression in the minds of the gathering masses.

I wonder why I am thinking of the sort of language one or two use here when coming to this conclusion? I suspect that those persons may have serious stability issues and find self-worth and explanation through the use of intemperate and passionate expression when talking of their political hate targets.
