I have an excellent idea. Let's all emigrate to Scotland. We can all go on benefits and get everything free. After a year or so of the English invasion, Scotland will learn to stop wasting our money.

Scotland isnt wasting our money there just putting it to better use.Having said that we need to address the unfairness of the system where they basically take more than they give back.The EU is of course another culprit ,the English people are being had over big time not only by those across the channel but also by those on the other side of the wall

As a Scot, I have to agree with these sentiments. The amount of money that is being poured into Scotland by Westminster is way out of proportion to the population. No wonder the SNP are able to spend so much on public services. Which beggars the question does the present Government know what they're doing? Is this all an elaborate plan to encourage the Scottish people to decide that they're better off being independent of the UK?

This would fall in line with the accepted view that Neo-Labour are hell bent on destroying the UK. The SNP have always been left-wing (which is why I left them years ago) and would be more than willing to join in with Broons plans.

What do you expect when the Westminster Government "Cabinet of Ministers", almost to a man, are co-signees of the Scottish Claim of Right whereby they swear to hold the interests of Scotland "paramount" in all their political dealings.

Recently Brown said that the Barnett Formula was working well and has been working well for the last 30 years, FFS, the architect of the Formula has said that it has no current significance and that it was supposed to be a temporary measure.

Is it any wonder that the English are pithed off with the state of affairs?

I saw a figure some time ago (from the 2001 census, I believe) that showed that the English were already the largest minority in Scotland with close to 400,000 established there. How exactly those figures were calculated though, I am not sure, as it did not distinguish, for example, mixed relationships, or those born in England, but say of Scottish or other ancestry.

Does Scotland have proportionally as many immigrants [from the EU and elsewhere] as England or has the Scottish Raj found a way of directing them to settle south of the boarder?

They may be putting it to better use but it's still money that could be used down here for our benefit.

I am sick of the Labour/SNP scum. Let's bankrupt Scotland then offer them independence. When they ask for us to allow them to stay within the UK we remove their 'Parliament' and they are once again rules from Westminster like England is.
