This is what I suspect may be happening. The BNP would benefit from having a MEP, as it would give political credibility. However, having AM as that MEP would, probably, have the reverse affect. I don't know the man, nor do I wish to, but anyone with any sense of honour would, on being accused of the actions he has, resign their position and slink into obscurity. An example would be the 'Hamiltons'. Famous for his charging £1000 to ask a question in Parliament, which he thought was prefectly normal. What was the name of the other MP accused of the same offence? Very few remember. AM should do the same.

A BNP MEP for 18 months and then what. The real problem for the BNP will come in 2009 when Mote is going to be turfed out by the voters irrespective of whose ticket he is using.

You'll be wondering why you bothered, to put it mildly.

You seem to forget that the Euro elections are based on PR. 'If' everything stays as it is, with the percentages being shown at by-elections, the BNP will have several MEP's. AM would be just the sort of person to show the 'newbies' the ropes, because you can bet a pound to a pinch of whatever that nobody else will.

If the percentage increases, British politics will have a shock. If they decrease we haven't lost anything. No lose situation....

I dont expect to see AM join the BNP anytime soon anyway, maybe just have informal links to achieve common aims.

He could certainly teach "Nick" Gri££in the ropes . . . Gri££in must look at AM as a role model, an example of what can be achieved . . .

Here in the North-West of England,Nick Griffin narrowly missed becoming an MEP in 2004,when the BNP polled 6.6% in this region.
This was when UKIP polled 13% here and nobody I speak to expects UKIP to make it into double figures this time.

From the AmRen conference:

Quote:
Ashley Mote has an idea for funds to be raised to buy a small island off the coast of England and call it Britannia, a new sovereign nation for present and former subjects of the crown who would want dual citizenship in a White nation with its own currency, stamps, flag, passports, laws, etc. This plan is now in the works and similar plans are underway in other countries, such as Australia. Mote quoted Thomas Jefferson’s wonderful statement that tyranny is when the people are afraid of their government, but liberty is when the government is afraid of the people.
The BNP are welcome to Mote. That should ensure they won't get elected where he stands. A criminal fruitcake as top of the party list. Don't make me laugh.

I hope you don't mind me posting this link but it shows AM at the conference where he astounded the world with plans for "Britannia." I was hoping to see a picture of Adrian.

Narrowly is a relative term. The BNP would have needed c. 9% to ensure the election of their no. 1 candidate. That's almost half as many votes again as they polled. Next year, with the number of seats reduced, it will take c. 14% of the vote to win a seat. The going will be much tougher both for UKIP and the BNP.

Thats why the GLA is so important as a victory there will give the party huge momentum going into the Euros. It could also hugely damage the UKIP vote splitters.
