Default Brief edited extract

Brief edited extract from the BBC report on the link on the first posting to this thread "But frontbenchers Alistair Carmichael, Tim Farron and David Heath all stepped down so they could vote in favour. Mr. Clegg immediately revamped his team. The Conservative call for a referendum was defeated by 311 votes to 248."

Default Conservative, Mr. William Hague, Channel Four Television News, Lords, Liberal 'Dems.'

Former Conservative leader Mr. William Hague said on Channel Four Television news at 7.30 pm this evening "This now goes to the House of Lords - I am still fighting this. It (the EU 'Amending' Treaty) will diminish the role of national governments. Without Liberal 'Democrat' support this is an uphill struggle - but I will still fight. The Liberal 'Dems.' have cost us the chance of a referendum in which we could stop this treaty."

Britannist adds: 50 Liberal 'Democrat' MPs abstained (as instructed by their europhile leader Clegg) in today's vote on holding an EU 'Amending' Treaty referendum.

Hunter is just starting out
Default

All this only goes to show where the Lib/Dem loyalties lie. They are obviously in favour of going into Europe full time, as the 'expenses' there are much higher than they are here, and there is no accounting for them. The nice little earners there will let Clegg live in the manner he became accustomed to while he was a MEP.

Traitors the lot of them....

The Liberal Dims are a nasty bunch of europhiles - they are the political arm of the EU in the UK.

The more people who vote for them find out what that shower are really all about (that the Dim Liberals want to destroy our Pound and put us all under EU Government) the more people will not vote for them.
