Default "Nearly twice as many want Commons Speaker to quit as want him to stay" (poll)

45% want The Speaker of the House of Commons, Michael Martin, to quit - while 28% hope he will "stay for now" - according to a new opinion poll from YouGov published in yesterday's Telegraph.

Default

It is sad that it has come to this but he should never have been speaker, he had no cross party support and thus his authority was weakened before he started. He could have overcome this bu he has made blunder after blunder and his left wing bias is obvious at times.
