I have to agree it sounds abit far-fetched, and it didn't quite sit right from the beginning. I mean how do you just go and bug someone's phone? One of them must have leaked it, that simple. The question is, Who? Sadie, who was recruited at a university and worked as a hunt saboteur? Blake, the clueless, whose contribution to the BNP over the years is to give them a distasteful and amateur website? Something is amiss with the whole thing. And I take back what I said about EiE - I think they are all useless, including Sadie Graham. A month ago Steve Blake bought a domain for a VoC forum (Voice of Change Forum). A professional job was done by an American-based web professional (and friend of mine), free of charge (if you sign up you can see it, though I don't know if they are allowing people to sign up right now). A month later and this person (not myself - I know virtually nothing about web design) still had not heard from anyone, despite emails to Steve Blake, Sadie, the Smiths etc. A month later and still no simple link to the forum from the main site, and a link left on the comments section of the EiE blog was deleted. Finally this designer - a BNP member - wrote to Sadie, basically threatening to remove all of his hard work if he did not get a response. He got a response from her - how disappointed - not at how useless Blake is, not at how they have lost their momentum and online support, and probably alot of donation money and good will, not at how the simple link wasn't put in, even though they had a couple of veteran BNP moderators already signed up on the new forum - but how disappointed she was in him! He consequently (against my better judgement, but I respect his decision) is allowing them to go ahead and continue to use the software he designed, but wants no further part in it. At the very best, their poor judgement and plain rudeness and discourtesy (not even a 'thank you) have resulted in them losing a professional web designer. At the very worst, they have revealed a total unfitness for any kind of professional leadership, having effectively ran their own support base into the ground. Of course sentiment against Griffin is strong (and against his assorted collection of misfits - Collet, Hannam and co, and state plants like 5IMon Darby), and they might win a leadership challenge anyway, but I hope they NEVER get back into the BNP, and that the challenger is someone credible.

I am glad you have came to your senses about the EIE motley crew of thieves and liars. I still dont see what the problem is with Collett, Hannam and Simon Darby. They may have made mistakes in the past, but who hasent made mistakes? Collett is producing good leaflets for the party, National ones and regular local templates. Hannam has helped walker get many accounts passed, and this years was late because of EiE so cant hold that against him.
Simon Darby state? Now that is just stupid, you been listening to too many SF cranks, I would be very suprised if they had any agents in the top of the BNP now. I have talked to Kemp and hes told me something that has happened which I cant say but it is clear that special branch are in a panic now that we have removed their mole. I just hope you can take my word for it.

The EIE blog is virtually defunct, perhaps they've all thrown in the towel? The BNP website is much better now, far more news and regularly updated. Its possible that the real rebels, ie those that weren't state have realised they have been pawns in a state/Searchlight pantomime. Thankfully the curtain has closed on it's last performance, although no doubt new revues will be planned by Gable/New Labour productions Ltd.

Has anyone paused to wonder why one of the three main EIE ringleaders would be so *careless* as to send the BNP a tape recording of their conspiracy before it had reached fruition?

And if none of them did it, who do you suppose did?
