Do you think there is too much influence from Israeli and pro Zionist groups in our government? Why have we allowed these groups to control many aspects of British policy? Do they decide our foreign policy?

I mean I've been reading up on this and I wont pretend to be that politically minded but it does concern me. This article I found very informative, I find it incredible how many people are so ignorant of these lobbyists in the UK. Frankly its bizzare!

Welcome to the forum dreamer. This subject has been discussed on various political forums in this country. The problem is not that people are ignorant of the fact, but that they choose to turn away as if it were nothing to worry about. One of the main reasons for this is that the mainstream Parties all receive funding through their respective Friends of Israel 'interest group'. The most notable being the recent Labour funding sleaze. Mr Abrahams and Mr (Jon) Mendelson are very active in the 'Friends of Israel'.

But it doesn't stop there. There are numerous MPs who are of the Jewish faith, and it would therefore be assumed that their loyalties would be pro-Israeli should the need arise.

Another reason why very little is done by way of investigation into this 'phenomena' is the fear of being branded as anti-semitic. A curse of the Political Correctness society in which we live.

With regard to our Foreign Policy - David Miliband, our Foreign Secretary, is Jewish and, I may be wrong here, I believe he and his brother Ed hold dual citizenship, one of them being Israeli.
