Andrew Constantine

I know it's not very fashionable to praise any part of the work of the UK government, but my recent experience with the Electoral Commission was that they were fair, helpful and efficient.

In fact my personal experience over the years of various dealings with both local and central government officials has been uniformly good. I just see a real public sector ethos at work, with competent and trustworthy officials.

Not the sort of account that makes a news story, is it?
