Putting out leaflets and canvassing is called political campaigning, it is something you have to do to get elected, especially so minor parties.
Even more so the BNP, where you have specific groups whose whole purpose is to stop the BNP getting candidates elected, with a never ending pot of money, literally millions, to spend on hate leaflets etc.

Therefor the BNP has to work three times as hard to counter the smears and lies.
I fully expect more smears and lies in the run up to the GLA, they are worried hence Livingstone and cronies complaining about BNP leaflets.
Must be doing something right.

If people don't like immigrants and immigration they will probably vote for the BNP. They aren't interested in squabbles between people of whom they have never heard.

Many of these people never read the papers anyway.

As I understand Employment Law; immediate dismissal of an employee is permissable for gross misconduct. That includes abusing your employer, stealing, and the like.

I wonder how an Employment Tribunal will look upon the "Enough is Enough" blog?
What was the 'employment' status of these BNP people? If they weren't employed or under some form of contract, then employment law does not hold.

According to a post on enoughisenoughnick the Wolverhampton organiser has been sacked for attending the BVoice of Change conference. Surely, this is a warning sign to even the willfully blind? I don't suppose it is ilegal though, is it?

My understanding of this situation is that the rebel faction within the BNP have gone from calling for three officials to be sacked, to demanding the resignation of their current leader, to calls for the creation of a new party.

I'm sorry but any party that wanted to hold itself together would sack an official that sided with that.

That is a very good point, even those that do read about it will porbably forget about it in two weeks time.

Organisers are voluntary workers and are not employed by the party. Now why should the party keep people in positions of infulence when they are siding with people trying to cause problems and people who have stole members money and are using membership lists ILLEGALY?

As I say, an interesting court case, maybe.

I think Sadie Graham might claim she was an employee.
The BNP will have it that she is/was self-employed under contract.
