Blair's new appointment announced

The discredited europhile Blair is to advise Zurich, a financial organisation, it has been announced.

Two weeks ago it was revealed that Blair had been appointed to advise J. P. Morgan, the investment bank.

Blair - at the centre of speculation in the UK press that he might become EU 'President' - is to advise Zurich on "international political trends."

Britannist adds: One trend Blair may not be talking about is the trend of opposition here in the UK to the very possibility of him getting the 'top job' in the EU.
