Oh, yes. Britannist. What a way with words. Richard's got the pithy style to take Brown apart in modern street language that most politicians would give their eye teeth to emulate.

Soon we'll be assessing Brown's first hundred days. The man who would be Thatcher. Fine, he will be hated like Thatcher in the end.

Interesting that you write that, UKPopDems - a UKIP friend of mine who does not get the Daily Mail every day and who is not connected to the internet enjoys reading the copies I send them of Richard Littlejohn's Daily Mail articles and has made exactly the same point as you about his writing.
