Cameron-Conservatives down and Labour up in new opinion poll

The Cameron-Conservatives are down 2% in the latest opinion poll while Labour under Gordon Brown are up 1%. The europhile Liberal Dims are stuck on 15% (no change on last month).

Communicate Research (now known as ComRes) give Labour a share of 37% (over 1% more than their actual vote share at the last General Election) - and the Conservatives 34% (about the same level of support the Conservatives got at the last General Election).

Source of above figures: Conservative Home 9.44 pm on 17.9.2007 (figures originally published in today's Independent newspaper).

I wonder if that will be reflected in the by elections on thursday? the tories are defending three seats, including the two UKIP are fighting.
