Firms withdraw BNP Facebook ads
Advertisers have no control over where on Facebook their ads appear Six major firms have withdrawn advertisements from the networking website Facebook, after they appeared on a British National Party page. First Direct, Vodafone, Virgin Media, the AA, Halifax and the Prudential have all withdrawn ads. Virgin said it had to "protect its brand". http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6929161.stm Doesn't look like the BNP will be getting corporate donations from that lot then. ![]()

Internet advertsing does need to sort itself out. Product placement is very important in marketing, so a bit of control of placement is required.
Over reaction is always the result of a bunch of lefties moaning and threatening.
