Default Labour in plot to let Argentina build base on British Falklands in 1976

The pro-EU Labour Government of 1974-9 held "secret talks" with Argentina's regime over the the future of the Falklands six years before UK and Argentina "went to war over the islands" (in the Falklands military conflict of 1982) documents from the National Archives at Kew show - and the UK Government "considered allowing Argentina to build a base (in the Falkland Islands) in 1976" the BBC reports:

Independence Now! is just starting out
Default

Does this news surprise anyone with a brain? The British Foreign Office has been a nest of vipers selling-out British interests and the British people since 1939. Before that time, they used to look-out a bit for our interests but not since! It doesn't matter whether we have a Labour government or a supposedly Conservative one, their treason goes on. If the Falkland Islands were French, there is no way the French Foreign Office (the Quai D'Orsay) would attempt to sell them out.

The Late Enoch Powell, the 'father' of the anti-EU movement in the UK, said that the 'British' Foreign Office was full of "rats and vipers."

What an insult to "rats and vipers"
