I have just put up an e-petition on the No. 10 Downing Street site. It will take a minimum of several days to have it accepted. More likely the Scottish Raj will find some excuse to can it. The draft e-petition reads:
Your petition reads: We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to require that any Minister of the Crown, or member of the Westminster Union Parliament, who has signed the Scottish Claim of Right be asked to renounce their pledge which requires that in all their actions and deliberations the interests of the Scottish people shall be paramount. The Scottish Constitutional Convention held its inaugural meeting on 30 March, 1989 in Edinburgh. It adopted a declaration, which was signed by all its members. This was a "Claim of Right", which stated: "We, gathered as the Scottish Constitutional Convention, do hereby acknowledge the sovereign right of the Scottish people to determine the form of Government best suited to their needs, and do hereby declare and pledge that in all our actions and deliberations their interests shall be paramount. We further declare and pledge that our actions and deliberations shall be directed to the following ends: To agree a scheme for an Assembly or Parliament for Scotland; To mobilise Scottish opinion and ensure the approval of the Scottish people for that scheme; and To assert the right of the Scottish people to secure the implementation of that scheme." The petitioner finds it very difficult to understand how a Minister of the Crown, or any member of the Westminster Parliament, is able to reconcile their obedience to the Claim of Right with their duties and responsibility to act impartially in the interests of all the citizens of the UK. Thank you for submitting your petition. Let's see if this is accepted! Any bets it will be? Andrew Constantine A United England in a United Kingdom, Free of the EU. |

What do you mean? The unicorn is a technical marvel, where the rear horn swivels to replace the forward horn when damaged in battle, and the beast fights on with 1 horn. The south Scottish Channel approaches are in good hands, as the unicorn has antelope hooves and a lion's tail in heraldry. It stands above the Royal Peculiar, where serious men gather each year to meet George who has a dragon. They each have a nice picture of the lizard on their smocks, and most of them are sane.

Yes, they even paid stone-masons after the war when funds were tight, to replace the old Yale above St. George's Chapel. King George told the KG to come to meet his dragon-knight there, after long years of neglect. They form a long crocodile procession in the Windsor grounds, and the Yale looks down and thinks of Druids.

Yes, they paid stone-masons to replace the Royal Peculiar Yale after the war, when funds were tight. It sits above St. George's Chapel, and King George called the KG to meet his dragon-knight after years of neglect. They form a crocodile procession in the Windsor grounds, where the Yale looks down and thinks of druids. So does the archbishop and HM who were inducted.
