Default New Party Rejects 'Merger' Discussions - Have UKIP?

http://www.newparty.co.uk/news/july2...e-suitors.html

An interesting news story posted on the New Party's website indicating that they have rejected an invitation to join in a meeting of smaller parties with "broadly the same aspirations for our country". The New Party report that many of those invited to the meeting have a conservative-nationalist philosophy, but don't give any further details as to whom they're talking about (the BNP perhaps?)

The article finishes by saying the UKIP has also been invited. Does anyone else know about this, and can any further light be shed?

I doubt very much that UKIP would accept an invitation from Veritas

I truly don't understand what the New Party is for.

Similar to UKIP, but better thought out and presented. No leadership at all though. Not even a bad one.

Talking

Also the New Party is Scottish Funded, and they don't stand in many elections.

How long before the New Party is the "Not so New Party"

The Scottish aspect was one that the 'elite' were very keen to play down, which is why they rented an empty office in London to try and give a wider impression.

The name was something that was frequently discussed, but in the absence of a name that gave the right message that hadn't already been registered by someone else it remained as the New Party.
I believe that UKIP members have also suggested alternative names but it is much easier siad than done to come up with one.

How about the "Barely New Party"?

I can't see any issues with that!

If they changed to that they could invite 'Jessica' to join and put on a show!

Or the 'Old New Party'. Then some of their bright young guns can rename it 'New Old New Party' - sounds like a winner to me.
