Default Floods Are Result of 'Moral Degradation'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...e_id=1770&ct=5

According to senior figures in the Church of England, the recent flood's are a direct result of Britain's 'moral degradation'.

The Rt Rev Graham Dow, the Bishop of Carlisle, whose district suffered horrendous flooding two years ago, believes the extreme weather is the direct consequence of mankind's lack of respect "for each other, for the planet and for God".

He said: "This is a strong and definite judgment because the world has been arrogant in going its own way.

Well, I guess at least it makes a change from blaming 'global warming'.

Default Pro-global warming theory lobby

The 'end of the world is near' pro-global warming theory lobby will not be very pleased that a man of the cloth has joined what they see as their own exclusive debate - one in which they make the rules and decide what can and can't be said.

Presumably this man has never read the manual of his religion which told man that God would not flood the Earth again.

Fairy stories for children I'm afraid

Agree with G hall. Also, God gave us free will, ergo wouldn't interfere unless asked. I believe judgment is reserved 'til the end.

I don't know of anyone pro AGW who is saying that the end of the world is near.

The Rt Rev Graham Dow sounds like he is just one step short of a sandwich board! 8)

With rhetoric like that it must be time for the Druids to make a big comeback. Did they get a big gethering at Stonehenge this year?
I couldn't make it, I was out of the country at the time...

I bet they wont, I dont think this chap is right though, if God was going to express his anger he has it within him to do something a bit more drammatic then a few inches of water.
