Default

Cant think how the French have anything to do with our political choices.

Or, what we are even thinking about regards this country continually giving away to the German hordes and the EU.

These people, and others,on the Continent are not to be relied on,nor are they, reliable allies from the past.

We would do very well to rid ourselves of their company for all time.

They're just not British, are they?

Default EU to have two Presidents

The Telegraph article explaining the main points of the EU Constitution re-heated (on the link given above in my posting of 7.10 pm) says that the EU is going to end up having TWO Presidents at the same time  :

Brief extract from the Telegraph website today (a report on the outcome of the EU Summit in Brussels earlie today): "A permanent EU president, chosen for two and a half years. The post can be extended once to five years. The EU president - technically president of the European Council, the body which represents national governments - can hold no other job during his tenure. Currently, the presidency rotates every six months between member states, with Germany giving way to Portugal at the end of this month. This role is different to the European Commission president, who is head of the Brussels bureaucracy. "
