Teletext (ITV 1, analogue page 313) has a report on it titled 'Scotland worst small nation' which says that the country is the "worst performing small nation in western europe."

The Federation of Small Business in Scotland made its assessment on the basis of wealth, employment rates, health and education.

A spokesman for the Federation in Scotland commented "Alex Salmond (the Scottish First Minister who is a member of the anti-UK pro-EU Scottish National Party) will have his work cut out if he is to match reality with his aspiration of making Scotland healthier, wealthier and fairer."

He will say he needs more English taxpayers money to do it I am sure of it.
