Three risks were avoided:
1. Other patients catching pneumonia.
2. Prescott not catching MRSA from a dirty ward.
3. No outbreak of stupidity by allowing 2 Shags into contact with anyone else.

Yes, but not one that the government would be prepared to take.
Even if there is any truth in the rumour that Prezza has evidence of a 'fling' between Gordon Brown and Tony Blair (explaining how he got to be DPM), it is unlikely that they would allow him to sully the good name of the NHS by giving him a dose of MRSA.
