Why the discredited political failure Blair thinks The Pope would want to waste time meeting him for remains a mystery. I am quite sure it was Blair's mob who asked for an invitation to see The Pope, and not the other way round.
Perhaps the Pope will ask Blair why he has angered Roman Catholic agencies in the UK regarding adoption. Or why Blair closed down the UK Vatican Embassy and effectively merged it with the UK Italian Embassy in Rome. |

The Pope will make big capital out of this. Britains most famous leader ever, becoming a Catholic! NOT
Will they let Bliar into Opus Dei as an (dis)honorary member? :P Perhaps he might become Saint Tony the False? ![]() |

Yes, I would laugh too if he got turned down.
I think alot of Roman Catholics (RC) will be quite concerned at the possibility of Blair joining their Church - letting him in as a member could damage its reputation and annoy the most active RC people. |
