Indeed, I heard Hammer Horror was making a comeback but I did not know it was going to be in Wales.

Plaid accuse Labour of arrogance over coalition talks, true but the pot calling the kettle black comes to mind.

I note as well that 4 PC AMs are opposed to a deal with the Torys.

I bet there are more than a few Conservatives who don't want anything to do with Plaid Cymru (Welsh Nationalists) or the Liberal Dims.

Whether they say so openly, is a different matter, of course.

There was a Welsh Conservative candidate who was allegedly deselected earlier this year for calling for the Welsh Assembly to be abolished. It's only 8 years since it was official Conservative policy in Wales to oppose the setting up of the Assembly.

I imagine there is quite a lot of raised blood pressure inisde all three partys as regards this proposal.

If it goes ahead though Blair is the one to blame, these bodys were set up so he and Ashdown could be rulers eternal in Scotland and Wales, paving the way for them to do so at Westminister and it has backfired on them.

Default Blair, Lie-bour Party, Conservatives, London Mayor

I agree that it looks like the whole devolution set up is already backfiring on Blair and his Lie-bour Party after only 8 years. What would really rub salt into the wound for Lie-bour is if the Conservatives won the Mayoralty in London next year. After all, Blair and his Lie-bour Party mob only brought in the Mayor job in the capital because they thought their candidate was guaranteed to hold the post and keep it at every election.

Default Liberal Dims, Labour, Plaid Cymru

I still don't rule out the Liberal Dims ditching Plaid Cymru at the last minute (before the election of a First Minister) and running back to Labour to see if a Lab/Lib Dim coalition can be arranged - leaving Plaid Cymru and the Conservatives in opposition.

The Lib Dems will do what they always do, see which way the wind is blowing and try to sail in that direction.
