Default Rhodri worried Wales will become a laughing stock.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/6655201.stm

reports on difficultys Labour faces in forming a coalition in Wales.

I think it is intresting that Scotland is likely to have a minority governement and chances are there wiull be no formal coalition in Wales.

Certainly shows that PR does not have to mean permamant coalition.

Britannist has some supporters
Default Europhiles, Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly

Europhiles will stay in control of the Welsh Assembly and the Scottish Parliament whichever individual is chosen as First Minister in each case  .

That is what the system was designed for. It's all part of the EU 'regionalisation plan' :x .

It was interesting to read that although the Welsh Labour Party want to form a coalition/alliance with other parties it is refusing to give them seats round the Cabinet table.

Surely one of the pre-conditions for an alliance is being able to influence policies and being afforded an insight into policy formulation?

This stinks of Labour hypocrisy, 'we want your votes but we won't tell you what's going on'
I hope they sink into oblivion.

"Wales would become a laughing stock" - Surely Rhodri Morgan means New Labour is a laughing stock for devising such a ridiculous election system.
