Default Politica correctness in the Police Force.

I have today been told by a friend that the Strathclyde Police have to adhere to the following proceedure.

When they face a riot and have to use cans of CS Gas, the cans are weighed before and after the riot to make sure they have not used unreasonable force.

If they have to pull out their extending truncheon (orwhatever it is called), to confront someone who may be violent, they must report it, even if they do not use it.

I wouldn't say that this is 'political correctness', but I agree whatever the term for it is, its downright stupid.

More like Social Workers than Policemen/women.

If UKIP wants to introduce 'Zero Tolerance' then whole sections of the above will have to be repealed, perhaps we should target Plod?

For an insight into how modern Police Service members think see here:

Could be argued that my local PC is PC.

This applies to all Police forces. It is mostly to cover officers against claims of excessive force from MOPs etc.
