A rise in interest rates is now virtually guaranteed. This needs to be nipped in the bud now before things get out of control.

Indeed although I should imagine this will go down about as well as a case of the mumps with most homeowners.

Of course. However, despite how much the pinch might hurt now, it's better than spiralling towards economic doom that rising inflation - and hence rising interest rates - will cause over the long term.

Default Chancellor Brown and inflation increase

I can see from recent rises in the prices of certain goods in the supermarket that inflation is rising.

This is not good for the reputation that some say Gordon Brown has as the "golden Chancellor".

The news of inflation reaching 3% will not be welcomed by Mr. Brown, of course, coming as it does after recent reports in the press about his alleged bad handling of pensions and gold sales - and his decision to raise corporation tax on small businesses.

Default Corbett MEP, Labour, UKIP, europhile ruling 'elite'

This should be a good time for UKIP to really go for Labour (i.e. criticise it). There are many in the Labour party who hate UKIP - that unpleasant Labour MEP Corbett is one example.

Time for UKIP to take the gloves off and expose the hypocritical europhile 'elite' who control and dominate the Labour Party and show the country what a vile mob the Lie-bour Party really are.
