In the words of Tito, 'The Greens can go fist themselves'.

I see very little difference between the Scottish Greens and Salmond's europhile (so-called) Nationalist mob.
In fact, I once read (and I don't know if it is true) that the Scottish Nationalists (SNP) and the Greens in Scotland have an unwritten understanding that the SNP concentrate on targeting the Glasgow/Clyde area (i.e western part of the central belt) and the Scottish Greens deal with Edinburgh/Lothians (i.e. eastern part of the central belt) and forget Glasgowa and the industrial Clyde. In other words the two parties - both committed to taking Scotland out of the UK - avoid vote-splitting by concentrating on different areas. |
