I answered your question, and you have displayed yet more examples of how inneficient and unquallified UKIP supporters are to pass opinion on so many areas.

Many of the 'achievements' you speak of, had nothing to do with the Empire, as they were achieved within the realm and boundaries of this tiny island, with no, or little, contribution by subjected peoples.

Benefits you speak of are the same that many other empires in history have given, such as lingua franca, law, engineering, military order, etc. That does not make the British Empire more unique, and were it not for the fact that the key stone of the Empire, Britain, was an island protected by the sea, the glorious Empire you so fondly speak of would have had its **** kicked generations ago.

Britain had no more 'right' to an empire, than did Napoloeon or any one else for that matter.

You'll get no argument from this UKIP supporter, empires have a tendency to end in tears.

Default EU Empire to end in tears

Which is how we hope the EU empire will end. But no tears from most British people when it does.

Well then, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I'm certainly not going to make any apologies for the Empire.

Default N apologies for anything from pro-sovereignty people

I agree Modern UKIP.

I don't see why those of us on the pro-British and pro-sovereignty side of UK politics should apologise for anything.

No apologies for putting our country first.

By the way - I like your new avatar (logo) of the splendid Truro Cathedral in Cornwall. One of the great buildings of this island.
