Default Chancellor contacted by Police

Gordon Brown has been contacted by the Police over cash for honours inquiry. He has been asked by the Metropolitan Police to submit his own letter which outlines who much he actually knew about the scandal. Also, Prescott has been contacted but hasn't formally been asked to submit his personal letter.

This can only mean that the next person to be asked is our beloved leader Tony Blair!

I would love to see him in prison, the punishment he well and truly deserves.

Amen to that!

Maybe that's why he has not provided funding for more prison places

Strings will be pulled, no one will be put in prison or even given a slap on the wrists.

Interesting that Brown is asked to submit a letter rather than being interviewed - a letter gives him maximum opportunity to wriggle and check his story with others involved.

Be interesting if he uses it as a political weapon against Blair.

My guess about Gordon Browns letter:

Quote:
Dear PC Plod,

How dare you even consider that I, Gordon the almighty, might be involved in this scandal.

If you studied your 'post neo-classical endogenous corruption theory' you would know that i consider the benefit to the party over the long term and would not put our hard-won stability at risk.

There is absoloutely no issue of curruption. However, it should be noted that selling peerages is no different to our established PFI schemes and is an efficient way of providing financing today, with costs only felt some years down the line.

I have decided to commission a report into the matter by a totally independent and respected person, Ed Balls, my representative on Earth.

I would be delighted to assist you in your enquiries and help bring the man to justice. (If it is a man of course, i am not suggesting it is who you think it might be. But it probably is)

Yours sincerely,

Gordon Brown, Ruler of Heaven and Earth. My Kingdom come, My will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Gordon can not be the Almighty as he is a thief like the rest of the mob.I would like to know what it has cost us to build up his pension. Is it as good as Blair's :?:

I suspect submitting a letter allows them to hang themselves - there must be a clear idea now about what went on.

I dream of seeing Tony Blair being frogmarched to a squad car, with a coat over his head.

Fractionally more realistically, I'd settle for a proper public inquiry into the Iraq war.
