Default Scottish interests served by remaining in the UK

I believe that it is in the interests of the Scottish to vote to remain part of the United Kingdom. There is no way that their national self interest can be better served by having the Pound replaced by the ailing euro and by the EU controlling its foreign affairs and defence matters rather than it doing so itself as a part of the UK (one of the five top UN members and the biggest trading nation in europe after Germany).

But, being English, I quite naturally want to be treated equally in the UK and want a Parliament and Executive for England - just as the Scottish have one for their land.
