Won't the EU just divert a load of British cash into Italy to stop that?

Rentals are already depressed compared to a couple of years ago and vacant properties take much longer to relet.

If interest rates increase much the property market will look very dodgy, and I wouldn't want to be owning a house with a large mortgage needing rental income to service the loan.
