I take it they approached him aswell then.
Eston is a poor media perfromer, I don't think Whale will be impressed.

Veritas only put up four local election candidates across the UK in May. I would have thought that the English Democrats (a much bigger party) who are doing much better in local polls than Veritas should take preference over Veritas in the pecking order of who gets interviewed on the radio.
Indeed, the Christian People's Alliance (which got three councillors elected in the London Borough of Newham in May of this year and which has elected councillors elsewhere too) should also come before Veritas. I wonder if Veritas heard of Mr. Farage getting three hours last week on James Whale's TalkSport radio and decided to get in touch (with Mr. Whale) to ask for airtime themselves. |

It could well be that if Mr. Eston turns up with the four or five active Veritas spokesmen/women, then Mr. Whale will have broken the record by being the first radio presenter in the UK to get the whole of a political party to fit into his studio     .
Perhaps UKIP people will 'phone the programme to tell Mr. Eston that he is wasting his time  . That's more or less what Nigel Farage MEP said about Veritas/One London during his interview on James Whale's TalkSport 'show' a week last Thursday. Mr. Farage said that Veritas and One London (One London being the two UKIP members of the London Assembly who followed Kilroy out of UKIP) are just "insignificant splinter groups." I wonder if Mr. Whale is yet aware that Veritas put up only 4 candidates across the whole country (at Hull and Bolton) in this year's local elections (in May) and came bottom of the poll in most, if not all, of the wards contested (if I remember rightly). |
