Default Europhile Livingstone squanders £226, 000 on pigeons

News of London's europhile leftist Mayor 'Ken' Fibingstone - who has wasted nearly a quarter of a million Pounds on trying to get rid of the much-loved Trafalgar Square pigeons (famous around the globe):

From ITV 1 Teletext, page 316 (analogue), 3.05 pm on 29.9.2006

“£226, 000 cost of pigeon fight’

Ken Livingstone’s battle to clear pigeons from Trafalgar Square has already cost at least £226, 000.

Taxpayers have spent an average of £90 for each bird which has been removed since 20033, according to figures from the London Assembly Liberal ‘Democrats’.

The London mayor, who has branded birds “rats with wings”, has spent between £38, 160 and £78, 241 a year on hiring two hawks to kill the pigeons.

Three words which describe the London Mayor:

Stupid Labour ******

Not the most articulate description of the mayor, but a fitting description!

No one likes him here. And yeah, what IS his bleeding obsession with the pigeons? He's a sad, little man, that's for sure.

Wasn`t there a bloke about ten years ago capturing the pigeons and selling them to Chinese restaurants?

There seemed to be a debate about whether he was Stealing the pigeons, and who from.

Give him the franchise

I reckon Livinstone must have been bullied by pigeons when he was a child. It must be like sweet revenge for him having them massacred. The fact he get's to use capatlist pigs money(the publics) instead of his own, just adds to he delight.

I bet he calls them Nazi pigeons too.

Unlike Ken's beloved Greater Crested Newts. Ken still remembers his feelings of awe from when he first saw a Greater Crested Newt, he said so in the Independent.

But it is of course a well known fact that Greater Crested Newts are gay socialists. So that's allright then !

All hes done is make the pigeons move to other areas of London. And the anti-Livingstone pigeons have, I notice, stayed put. Trafalgar Square is far from free of the birds.

Livingstone says that money is saved from cleaning buildings as a result of bird mess. In actual fact, all that happens is that money has to be spent from cleaning the buildings in the areas where the pigeons move to as a result of Livingstone's ridiculous and costly pigeon-hostile policies at Trafalgar Square.

The capital and the whole country also suffers from lost revenue because fewer tourists visit when they find that a key London tourist attraction such as the Trafalgar Square pigeons have gone or been sharply reduced in numbers.

Just as fewer people will return to visiting London when they find that the world-famous Routemaster buses (doubledeckers built in the 1950's with a door at the back and a conductor on board) have been mostly got rid of by the europhile Livingstone (who promised that he would never do such a thing).

The opportunist Livingstone is destructive, arrogant, pro-EU and pro-euro to the point of extremist, sharp-tongued, gripped by a desire to raise council taxes, obsessed with power and is useless in his job. His image/persona damages the capital and it should be the duty of all decent people who live in London to vote him out of office at the next Mayoral election (2008) - and vote to keep him out thereafter.

All the damage that Livingstone is doing to the nation's capital he would have done to the country as a whole if he had become Labour leader/Prime Minister (which, in my view, was his burning desire and ambition when he entered the House of Commons as an MP).
