TAX HOME OWNERS MORE FROM 2007?

In the Shropshire Star tonight, it is reported that MP P Dunne is to fight a House Price Tax. Note that this tax has support from Labour and Lib dems. It is being intoduced to N Ireland next year ay a rate of .63% per year on the value of your property! He intimates it is going to come to Britain at a rate of 1% per year and he appears worried that Brown and Campbell are actively planning the introduction here.

This would however key-in with the Lyons report that keeps council tax set against property value and rubbish weights.

Is it not about time a political party stood up for decent, proud, home owning people? People who provide for their families rather than scrounge and doss about aimlessly?

They do this in France etc. I believe so it's only a matter of time.

Just a council tax increase. So much for the Lib-Dems being against the council tax.
