Default Another failure of immigration policy

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5308028.stm
Quote:
Action is needed to prevent Eastern Europeans, particularly Polish people, who come to Britain from becoming destitute, a homeless charity said.

Homeless Link found around 15% of the 4,356 people surveyed in day centres and night shelters over one week in London were from Eastern Europe.

The group said most people needed only short-term help,(i.e a house and a job) but charities were not equipped to meet their needs. (since they are not in the business of giving houses and jobs)

Janusz Vaah, the Polish consul general, agreed they were struggling to cope. (who does he mean by 'they?)

Jenny Edwards, head of Homeless Link, said not enough action was being taken. (any action is too much, bar a one way ticket home)

She told the BBC's Today programme: "Nobody at the moment is doing enough to help the people. (means that the Poles aren't doing anything either....)

"They're turning up in homelessness services and it's not where they should be. (doh! really?!)

"They're people who have come here wanting to work and the main thing they want to do is to find out how to get a job and a roof over their heads." (like many English kids.......)

The survey concluded that, while most Eastern Europeans who came to the UK had found work and accommodation, some were homeless. (err, you find some poles in homeless shelters and the survey concludes some were homeless. How much did they pay for that gem?)

(etc.....more bleeding heart stuff.....)
I'm rapidly losing patience with this.

I'm sure the Polish embassy and consulates will be glad to accommodate homeless Poles.

I thought they were all supposed to be working, paying taxes and paying their way,not in any form or shape a problem to us.

We have a housing shortage,we are importing labour some of which are building houses, and we are getting extra homeless people.

We send money to their country from our taxes but they come here and undercut wages and the tax base.

Im going to go on drugs, the hallucinations will make more sense.

Incidentally, are these people really homeless ? Surely they've got homes back in Poland ? Also, if you make yourself deliberately homeless, you don't qualify for social housing, do you ?

That applies to the LibDems and the Tories as well, the exception being the latter would much rather slash services than increase taxes. Anyone with half a brain can see the reason so many houses are required to be built is because of the mass immigration that has and is taking place. :?
