Default Latest You Gov Poll "Others" at 13%

Quote:
At the moment 13 per cent of YouGov's respondents say that at any early general election they would vote BNP, Green, Ukip or for one of the nationalist parties or some other small party.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.../nblair126.xml

The number of people wh are losing faith in the three main parties seems to be growing.

A great opportunity for UKIP?

ukip, lets get in and make hay while the sun shines. future Leader ready yourself for a roll, surely our turn is coming to break the dominant forces of British politics.
why do people vote for the main three ?

is it that they like their MP? or that they do as their dad did ?
or non EU status for our country is a bit too radical compared to giving a hoodie a hug or supporting a gay pride march ?

say 30 percent -I wonder why they vote as they do.
say 40 percent -I wonder why they do not vote at all.

Depends what part of the country you are in.

They actually know the answers, because when you click on others, it gives you a list of other parties to vote for.

I actually took part in this survey (see I told you lot you should register) and it was the same as always. I also got to abuse all three old parties, but they didn't report much on the results for that.

Default 'Small' parties not so small in local polls

Regarding the figure of 13% quoted in the first posting to this thread - 13% (if not more) are regularly voting for 'other parties' (i.e. not for Labour/Conservative/Fiberal Dims) on a regular basis in local elections.

UKIP and the English Democrats (ED) could substantially increase their support in local elections. And, of course, there are no lost deposits (although the pro-EU parties will try and change that  if UKIP/ED and others start making big gains in council elections).

The BNP are the leaders of the pack on 4%. UKIP are on 3%, the same as the Greens. Respect are on 1%, the SNP/PC 2% and Veritas have 0%!
