Default Cameron aiming to increase female MPs

http://www.theherald.co.uk/politics/68366.html

Quote:
DAVID Cameron will today risk infuriating Tory diehards when he unveils further plans to increase the number of female candidates at the next general election.
While he will stop short of the all-women shortlists controversially adopted by Labour, the Tory leader will tell constituency parties that they must include at least two women on a four-person shortlist when selecting candidates.
I guess he hasn't learned the lesson Labour did in Wales?

Waka is just starting out

Blair imposed an all woman shortlist on Blaenau Gwent. The issue then was more to do with community protest at Peter Law not getting selected. Law, who was a respected local chap, was largely expected to get selected.

It's still a fudge using the same kind of mentality.

They will pay for it.
