Default Blair plot to 'audit' every home for carbon emissions

Can you believe the cheek of this rabble of an excuse for a government? The discredited political opportunist Bliar bought himself a new Government jet (which he wrongly claimed The Queen wanted as well when in fact she is happy with the one already in use) only last month. It will blast out massive amounts of carbon emissions wherever it flies to.

Now the bossy europhile ‘nanny state’ Bliar Government is boasting it has put a low energy light bulb in Downing Street! This pathetic claim is an attempt to draw attention from the fact that Bliar is now planning on carrying out an intrusive “carbon audit” of 18 million homes across the UK to see if people can reduce their carbon emissions. How much will this cost us in extra council tax (as presumably new officials will be employed by local authorities to conduct the auditing task)?

This news come a few months after it emerged that lardbucket Prescott (the discredited buffoon who remains as Deputy Prime Minister) was plotting (through the Office of Deputy Prime Minister) to take satellite photographs of each and every home in the country to ascertain if any of them had illegally (i.e. without planning permission) had extensions built on to the m and to find out if council tax charges could be increased.

From ITV 1 Teletext at 8.12 am on 7.8.2006:

‘Houses may get carbon audit’

UK households may be given individual carbon audits to encourage them to do more to reduce their own contribution to global warming, Tony Blair has said.

He said the Government was looking at the idea, which he believes could boost the uptake of carbon-reducing measures in households across the country.

The PM said he had made an effort to “set an example” with new low-energy lightbulbs installed in Number 10.

The above is all old news - but where is our spokemans comments on this intrustion into our lives? I suspect when nosey council officals start to poke around peoples houses, people will start to get angry about the state intrusion, and maybe a few may get a good thumping.
